Bio:
Dave Kanell has performed standup comedy in New York City at the
Underground Lounge, and auditioned for Last Comic Standing.
In Massachusetts, he's performed standup comedy at the Upper Deck in
Barre, O'Driscoll's Irish Pub in Wilbraham, and 3G's Sports Bar in
Worcester.
In Connecticut, he's performed standup comedy at The Main
Pub in Manchester, the Webster Theater Underground in Hartford, Pyzzz
in Putnam, Martini's in Orange, Allstars sports bar in Manchester,
the Prospect Cafe in West Hartford, Pine Needles in Marlborough, the
Hard Hat Cafe in North Haven, Cheffries in Windsor, the Standing
Stone in Hartford, and at Jitters in Southington, where he hosted the
open mike comedy night each first Saturday of the month.
Dave has appeared on Don Rulli's public access tv talk show "360 Degrees",
which airs on Nutmeg TV; Dave also had an internet radio talk show
with Don Rulli called "The Dave K and DJ Show", where he
interviewed guests and local celebrities.
This comic uses his experiences as an auditor, boyfriend, cat owner,
son, social observer, prankster, roaster, toastmaster, and deep
middleager to write his comedy and deliver it with "the joke is on
me" attitude.
